its kind of amusing to note that Fender is now in the process of doing everything that Gibson did to screw themselves in the 1990s-2000s...undercutting their main brand with entirely adequate budget-line guitars, overpricing the main US-made models and letting QC slip, increasingly focusing on insanely expensive Custom Shop models, and failing to introduce new concepts successfully.
