Not traditional noise I 'spose, but here's my contribution. 3-4 layers of Guitar + Pedals + Fender Reverb Tank.:idk:

I call it Undersea Warship vs. The 30,000 Ton Serpent

Fuzzifer is recording mad doomz in a few weeks, but there's some noisy stuff readily available on my soundcloud...

:idk: aaaaand there's a plenty more available later when its all rescued from my smoking laptop.

:wha?: :!!!: :thumb:

What was your signal chain for recording this?

That's three tracks, pedalboard played by me with my two year old son. :poke: Call that early musical education. :animal:

The fx in the tracks are
Dwarfcraft TGD > Fuzzhugger Hugger: in loop Boss RE-20 Space Echo
DE SPAE: in fx loop DE Bit Mangler
...same with Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus in feedback loop and a little Snarling Dog Mold Spore Wah

I love playing the chorus pedal in feedbackloop, and filtering it with a wah.

I agree. :thumb: And even if it's more ambient side to noise, who gives a fuck if it's not traditional noise :whateva:  or not when it's this nice.

I'm down. Maybe even up.

Cool. I think the single take idea went around on one of the TB compilations as a rule for submission.

I can totally do something with Dr. Sherm Sticks for this :thumb:

ps. yeah yeah I know. I just come up with it and posted the bounce. What you are hearing? a bass a bigmuff a lot of reverb and delay. Also what I did was played for about 10-12 min and then cut it in half and brought the second half up to the front and then hard panned the two tracks  it's called empty-peanut-butter-jar

That is a fantastic idea. I love these sounds; what's the source?

Oh man, I want in on this. I'll get some stuff recorded this weekend with my bandmate. I was actually thinking of doing some kind of noise project, so maybe this will propel me to try and get a group going.

So is anyone still planning to organize this? I don't think I'm the right guy for the job but I really want this to happen!

It'd be kind of cool if we got plenty of ILFers to contribute or collaborate some original tracks then maybe make a Bandcamp page for it. We could do a name-your-own-price deal and all the proceeds could go to the hosting cost of the ILF :idk:

I'd be down to organize some more.

Maybe Tom Sets up the Bandcamp site so that sales can go direct to hosting fees?

there are also a few aggregators where you can upload albums to itunes, spotify and other streaming and downloadsites for free, they of course want a percentage of the income.. But people not willing (or too poor to download) can listen to it for free on for instance spotify, while ILF gets money! Winwin-situation, but also a bandcamp will be awesome!
