This is a great idea! Loads of people here have cooler boards than me so nominating them instead seems like a good plan. Plus it'll end up with a thread containing all the best boards on here...

Yeah, I think this is the way to go. That pedalboard thread is extensive...

Yea, we'd have to start from Jan 1st 2011, which was linked in OP. I still think the separate thread would be nice.

Weather it is a/needz to be a real contest of not I agree, always fun to post and look at boardz, might get some peeps that haven't posted in a while and whatnot.

Oh yea, I forgot to comment on the "needs to be contest" thing.
I agree that maybe having a drawing for the people who voted would be cool. But then do the people who are up for vote, get excluded from that? Still think some sort of something should be given to the winner of each category, whether it's a temporary title change or idk what.

Now that's a great idea! Have Tom change the winner's title from committed / FAMOUS to 2011 Category Board winner for the next year or something...... also a tshirt should be involved for the winners too, so they can walk around with pride IRL!

There certainly should be a separate thread, perhaps a locked mod submitted one...cuts down on all the comments/paging through multiple quotes of the same image.
1 entry per member, not sure how many people plan on entering but that could get crazy out of control quickly (not to mention having MLC win every category
)
