Netflix sucks. So does streaming.

I'm just a sucker for tangible goods.

As for recommendations, I don't know if its on streaming or DVD (or either), but if you like movies you owe it to yourself to check out Hearts of Darkness:

Just watched Luis Bunuel's L'Age d'Or (The Golden Age), which he co-wrote with Salvador Dali. It's a hilarious satire on religion, sexual repression, and societal standards. Recommended if you can handle old films!

Gotta sat that Dead Snow was a fucking good trip. Not necessarily a great movie, but lots of fun.

But I'm on to Trainspotting now.

1. Obtain Hulu Plus.
2. Watch "Airwolf"
3. Revel in the attractiveness of Ernest Borgnine.
4. ???
5. Profit.

Just watched the Wilco doc and liked it a lot. I tried to watch Rubber last night, I was liking it but started it way too late and will have to finish tonight. My wife was put off by the opening of the cop talking about "no reason" and quickly fell asleep in protest. Weird and intriguing.

Watch Ashes of American Flags. It's not on Netflix, but has a ton of good live footage and cool interviews. Glenn Kotche is a beast!

Finished watching Rubber. It has the distinction of wasting two of my evenings. I would like to think that heads exploding is enough to entertain, but never underestimate the power of disappointment.

Yeah I wasn't quite sure about that one. I wanted to like the ridiculousness of it, but it turned out being pretty lame actually. It could have been a good satire, but it turned out being to wrapped up in its own sillyness to get the point across.

I have been watching all the episodes of Star Trek that I never saw, which is most of them. Great times.

I am half way through Battlestar Galactica and I got to say it RULES
Hobo with a shotgun was an ... interesting movie
And netflix does not have it streaming but the HBO show Bored to death is fucking hilarious.
Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, and Zach Galifianakis have great chemistry. Quarky dark comedy.
I just found out Kids in the hall is streaming now so I got to recommend that to eveyone.

I saw Man on Wire alone at an art house theater a couple years ago when I was in college. I was simply amazed. The music chosen in the film is perfect.
