I've been a time or two. It can be fun, but I'd have gotten really bored if I weren't drunk and with lots of friends. Like it's cool for a while, a room full of naked girls dancing, money getting tossed around, etc...but it eventually becomes sad. I'd be ok going with a girl that I wasn't into, but if you're saying you like her, prob shouldn't. She could have been testing you to see if you're into it or maybe not. Bet she'd be hella impressed if y'all did go, yet you payed attention to her and not the strippers.

Its one of those things where it seems like in the beginning it would be awesome. I mean, who doesn't love titties? But after the initial "OMG TITS" it seems like it would be sad, and I would start crying in a corner, and girls don't like that kind of stuff. It would just be weird, and if I'm dropping money to see naked chicks, I'm not going to not look at them, that's just wasteful.

The beauty of strip clubs, pay the door fee, and don't pay any specific girl. Just look at all of them while other dudes keep paying them to dance.

In all seriousness, strip clubs are best enjoyed with a bunch of friends who are laughing their asses off at each other.
It can be cool to go with a lady, but then dancers will want to talk to you, and that's really best avoided.
Go, look at tits, drink beer, laugh at yer embarassed friend who just had tits rubbed on his face, keep your drunkest friends out of trouble.
Don't bring your really uncouth friends who think it's ok to ask "how much to touch your pussy?" while out on the floor of the bar.
You also don't want to be the dude looking at dancers like a hungry lion looking at a pack of gazelles.

the idea has always struck me as glum...the equivalent of window-shopping in the red-light district in Amsterdam, which if you've ever been there is one of the saddest experiences i've ever had in my life. all these bored, miserable, half-strung-out looking women just waiting.

waiting for money to feed their jones, sad and alone. many of them people from the former Dutch colonies, thousands of miles from home. all with the thousand-yard stare.
i'm not opposed to legal prostitution. but walk through that neighborhood sometime and the human cost is painfully apparent.
