Got a Boss ME-50 when I wanted to see if I would like effects. Liked the effects but not impressed with the ME-50 so I started getting individual pedals. Eventually I got a Skinbender MK I and that made me go from being a delay whore to a fuzz addict. Found ILF through the EQD website.

Since joining I've added a chk chk boom, Hoof Reaper, Snowdrift, Super Chan (well, whenever it's finished) and Ghost Disaster, though that was on my radar before joining ILF. Also got Kyle's Sunn Model T coming over which is all sorts of awesome.

Jero wrote:I also had a TAFM and a Phantom Octave for a while. Got a Melx too (still use).

Why'd you get rid of the TAFM?

I don't have a full evo collection, just some random stuff sitting on my camera.
These span the entire life cycle of ILF.

(click to enlarge [that's what she said])

Image
Early days of ILF:
The SCOD was one of my first real "boutique"-y pedals, I really miss that thing.
FH(fx) Algal Bloom? Hugger? WTF are those? and what does FH(fx) stand for anyways?

Image
'09 Basic Board:
Enter the lovebot cosmichorus, that thing turned my world upside down. I had a v1 cosmichorus but I really started abusing the effect with the v2

Image
Experimental "creation" board:
Scattershotboard...a little bit of everything. Phaser/fuzz/tremolo/fuzz/delay/fuzz/fuzz/delay/fuzz/chorus/fuzz/eq/fuzz/od/fuzz (you get where I'm going)
The whetstone, pitchfactor and goatkeeper v2 had all come out around then, once again pedals that rocked my world.

Image
HCFX BOTB Best Monster Board '09:
The "creation" board pops up again, this time the fully functional one I would use for a while.
Mostly the same, just tweaked the order a bit for ease of use and the sound.
Major additions like the prometheus/screwdriver/airplane/lunar module would all see heavy use for a while on various smaller boards.

Image
HCFX BOTB '10 Loser Board:
I like this one even better than '09, but it wasn't trendy enough for hcfx. I shoulda went strymon.
A handful of new things over the year, the Dream Crusher became one of my most used fuzzes; the infinitphase most abused.
Fuzzfaceless was another biggun, Tim proved he wasn't all mojo transistors and NOS mumbojumbo (the robot mk1 has oc81d's  ) by working with me (and my gf graphically  ) on a custom fuzz project using slightly more common parts. The result, dubbed the "bounty box" (complete with Boba Fett etching and labels in imperial basic), is probably my all time favorite effect.

Image
Early '11 Simple Board (yes it's worth a small fortune, but these are all pedals I waited a LONG time for)
Back to basics. Muff, fuzzface, od, tremolo, reverb. I didn't sell anything but I'm enjoying not having the complexity of a ptpro, even if only for a little while.

Tomorrow it will probably change. About to plug in my skinpimp panik (another muff :whateva: ) and a jerms fuzzrite for the first time.
I can tell that we are gonna be friends.

:hello:

Cool shit! I love them all! For some reason I thought the goatkeeper was a bigger pedal...

How is the Stereo Semaphore? Have you used the standard one?

Well before ILF I was just plugged straight into my using its dirt/high gain channel for my distortion. Now I use a Green Muff Clone, Vintage Big Box RAT, Boss SD-1, Boss Tu-3, Mimic Mock II Analog Delay, and a Line 6 DL4. I also have a MXR Dist. + but I never really use it.

Before ILF:
Image

This was right after I had discovered I liked fuzz.

Then i went through a phase RIGHT before ILF and sold all my fuzz and didn't want to own a single one.

This is after ILF:
