i hate when i'm like the only person that likes something

it's like the Tool thing again :D

ok... nevertheless, i'm looking forward to SuckerPunch... you're looking forward to it because some of you hope for Snyder to get better, some of you hope for Snyder going down in flames, i'm looking for it because i liked Watchmen and i'm really curious how will SuckerPunch end up... yeah, looks cheesy... BUT i don't mind that IF there's enough exaggeration to show that it's cheesy for the purpose purpose of entertaining :)

I thought the movie was OK, honestly. With any adaptation, you can't go in expecting it to be a perfect adaptation of the book, especially since the book was partially in your own imagination-- where as a movie basically leaves nothing to your imagination except a chick's boobs.

I never read the graphic novel, though.

Suckerpunch looks awful. I'll probably see it.

The sex scene in Watchmen (the film) was a little gratuitous, but AT LEAST THE CHICK WAS HOT HAAAAAYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBBBBEEEWWBBBBSS. I just think that the ending of the g.novel, as weird as it was, was rrrreeeaaallly smart. To me, the pure absurdity and over-the-top-ness of it perfectly illustrates present day media spectacle... 9/11 mostly, and the credulousness of humanity.

I should clarify that I'm talking strictly about the g.novel..I've never seen the movie version :idk: but maybe you figured that out...sorry.

Looks like a movie I'd see but probably dislike.

I liked both the Watchmen book and movie. I read the book afterwards (ohshitahithshtihsihithihihgethim) and remember having a problem with how the endings matched up, though for the life on me I can't remember what it was.

I just love Rorschach.

Saw it in theatres with my dad.

During the sex scene the audience was completely silent, except for when my dad clearly stated "Don't look son!"

Cue audience laughter.

oh, i want to see sucker punch! i love the steam punk stuff, samurai and ninjy stuff is also cool, and giant robots and dragons, and girls, and war... Hey! Great movie!

and for the record, i liked the watchmen movie as a comic adaption quite a lot (ok, sin city and 300 were imho better).

OK, guys, i just got back from seeing this movie...

SPOILER : show
MOTHERFUCKER, thanks a lot for almost 2 hours of my life wasted...

there are basically three realities... ok, Inception was easy to get...

storyline? fucking rubbish... unnnecessary boring drama about a few hot looking girls interrupted by a few action scenes...

... and the actual action scenes? FUCKING ORGASMIC... Yeah, they are over the top, get over it - don't look for real action movie art, it's based on a comicbook, come on...
but there are probably 4 good scenes in this movie and three of them made me shit bricks... the 4th was OK, a few cool camera tricks and a lot of slowmotion... however those three action scenes that preceded were really AWESOME. Also - the steampunk part of the movie was really great ;) probably the greatest

ok, so to finish it up... absolutely stupid movie with awesome action scenes (don't look for real action movie ART... it's based on a comicbook, come on) and fine looking bitches... but sorry, i'm not gonna get pussyfolded

time and money wasted

oh btw the OST... Zack Snyder isn't probably the greatest man to choose songs for OSTs... BUT the action scene where he put Björk (I THINK!) in the background was goddamn great... really intense :)

I LOVE WATCHMEN AND YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT FROM ME... Watchmen made sense from the beggining to the end... every scene kinda spoke to me, you know? But this movie just sucks

Sucker Punch? More like "Suck my balls Zack Snyder or i'm gonna punch you in the dick" ... two burgers (action scenes, bitches)

i saw it. it is a horrible awful waste of time. even the action sequences are boring. no plot, no character development. and i also saw battle los angeles. that too was fucking awful. I've given up on todays hollywood boxoffice garbage.

no offense guys (americans), but whe worst thing about Battle for LA was the overplayed american patriotism... painful to watch... but otherwise the movie was at least entertaining - even though it was stupid :D

maybe i'm biased by watching it on the big screen in a multiplex... but i really liked action sequences in Sucker Punch (except the train one - as i wrote - that was just OK i guess) ... the worst part is that i¨m probably not willing to watch the movie again to develop a second opinion

i dig, i'd take Sucker Punch over having to watch Amanda Seyfried any time :erm:

about the music once again... yeah, it was Björk (i did some research), that was a great song for this movie... some of the remixes were good, too - for example i enjoyed the different twist on "Where is my mind" :) but i think that gangsta-Queen are not for me
