I would've jumped on this as I love procrastinating, especially with computer games, but my iBook is now 5.5 years. Like it barely plays youtube videos  The sound works, but the video can be choppy...

Yeah, he didn't actually get the indie bundle. He just bought Braid right off of Steam.

Hey C! I'm about to hook you up. Do you have Leopard or Snow Leopard?

Ohhhh...  Reading would help.

I could host the file online so you can download it if need be.

Hey G.

I run Leopard 10.5.8 on my Macbook Pro.

So did I totally misunderstand what the hell I was doing when I bought it off Steam? I thought it was just a friggin' download service.

Yeah, I'm assuming it's much like the iTunes store. You can buy through them (often at a price much cheaper than elsewhere), but you also have to play through them. They offer other things you wouldn't be able to have if you just buy the game... chatting w/ friends while playing, being able to play purchased game on either pc or mac (if it's available on mac), the online community, auto game updates, achievements, blah, blah, blah. If you want to be able to play without using Steam I've left you a little surprise in your inbox.

In honour of TIME PASSING I spent some time playing drunken Braid last night. It's amazing how some of the solutions to the puzzles totally shine through when you've had some alcohol, while others remain horribly illusive. I spent quite a while a few nights ago trying to master the "time shadow" of World 4 the other night and couldn't do it. But, once again, there's that clicking moment of "OHHHHHHH" and then you can totally ace the seemingly harder puzzles.

I still have maybe 4 or 5 pieces to collect in the last two worlds. Some of them I JUST DON'T GET, but I felt that way about some of the more involved ones that I couldn't solve the other night but solved last night.

Totally bitchin' game.

Crayon Physics Deluxe is an AWESOME game.

Playing it while stoned though yields the most difficult tasks of all time. But the music is hypnotizing and supremely relaxing. So it's all good.

Humble Indie Bundle 5 is out now: Amnesia, Bastion, Limbo, Psychonauts, and Superbrothers. I somehow haven't played any of these games, so I'm downloading right now.

This is the first year that I've been like "YES. I WANT THESE."

Spent $7.50 because I don't have too much to spare, but Amnesia, Bastion, Psychonaughts and LIMBO are all games I've been wanting to play for a long ass time. Superbrothers just seems like a nice little bonus as far as I'm concerned.

It says that it does. They have installers for Windows, Mac, and Linux apparently.

Limbo has been one of my favorites for a while.

Amnesia is good shit as well.
