seriously when are you going to write an autobiography-type thing? every time you post some story it's freaking sweet.

I second this.
If you're ever tight for cash, do this.

honestly high school wasnt bad for me. I enjoyed some classes, had fun.

AS a senior, high school sucks. nothing has really changed, im just ready to move on and the school administration has changed making for a much worse environment. im so fucking sick of this schooling system and im really looking forward to college, since its more career specialized than high school. Maybe I will learn something relevant in college :idk: i enjoy learning

My school had a "spirit assembly" today, basically it's 1 hour of loud pop music, a shitty P.A. sytem, and sports, which equals one big head ache. As fucking horrible as school is, it gets a thumbs up, how many friends would you have without school, None?

pretty much. i had fun in high school. 2 years into college now and still tight with my group of high school friends. i pretty much just ran track all the time, made a band senior year. my high school was this strange little place made up of a few rednecks, douchebags, smart douchebags, and then a lot of really eclectic people.

ironically i had much better teachers in high school than ive had so far in college, with a few exceptions.

but like two years ago this teacher went apeshit and started throwing chairs at students. an ex-teacher quit and got a job as principal in another town and then told a bunch of her old students they could go to hell (and other choice words) via facebook. lulz were had that day.

two dudes were about to fight one day. they took their shirts off and instead of like, throwing a punch one dude threw a container of milk into the other guy's face. he opened it and just threw it. then he calmly and coolly walked out. the other guy didn't know what to do.

and at cc i regularly encounter people who shouldn't be allowed to mate. i had a class with this dude who wrote a 20 page paper on why people should only speak english in america. it wasn't anything mildly logical like 'why english should be the national language' or like even 'more rigorous english testing should be a part of obtaining citizenship.' it was that people should only speak english in america because bald eagles and barbecues and apple pie and shit.

i hated that class.

Community College. theres yer problem.

There are 3,300 students in my Highschool, I have lots of "buddies," but only a few true friends :thumb:

For future reference: skip it and go smoke weed.

again my school was weird, made up of about 1000 kids when the rest of the county schools had no less than 2300. and by high school group of friends i mean 8 people

high school was great up until gr.12 for the wrong reasons, then I realized how much of a fucking douche I was and then it gr.12 was really great for the right reasons, but then my friend was killed and my girlfriend and I broke up.

now im in gr. 12 B and most of my friends have gone away and I'm really lonely. i was looking at a bunch of pics that I took last year and I felt like crying. :(

i really want to go to university, but I'm unsure if I can get in.
:picard:

edit:

Spaceritual, that was the greatest story I've ever heard.

I went to 3 different high school. Some good experiences, mostly terrible though. First high school was one of those schools that goes K-9, so after 9th grade I had to look for another school. Went to boarding school in New England to play hockey. Sat third string goalie behind Canada's 18 and under starter and another Canadian. Really enjoyed the school and living there, but in 10th grade (I repeated 9th grade at boarding school as well for eligibility) my group of friends was torn apart when 6 of the 10 of us were kicked out for smoking weed (one strike school). Then no one else got along anymore. Then I transferred for a chance to start back at home in PA. All boys catholic school, what a mistake. I had some great experiences winning the Flyers Cup and going to the State Finals two years in a row, but every single one of the kids at this school were douche bags. Driving drunk and thinking it's hilarious, treating women like shit. I always played three sports, by junior year it was all at varsity level, but I never had a Jock mentality and was always stuck in this weird spot where I was too nerdy for the jocks, that I didn't want to be friends with anyway, and too "jockey" for the nerds, and not a big enough stoner for the stoners. So therefore, I graduated with zero friends from highschool after losing communication with boarding school friends who were 4 hours away. Also keep in mind that in my graduating class there were 68 people.
As far as college goes, I smoked a shit ton more weed, played more guitar, still never went out to party, but made friends within my major and got lucky with roommate situations so that I was able to make a core group of great friends, albeit only 5 of us. Also met my girlfriend in college so it was much better than high school for me.

*Edit* I also played a shit ton of Counter-Strike on my computer. I played semi-professionally and got to travel all over US and Canada. Played in a shit ton of local tournaments. I still talk to a bunch of those people. Online friends can be real friends too. True story: Last year I went to NYC to see Animal Collective with my friend. Two of his friends wanted to tag along to hang out in NYC. I was high... I let one of them take my keys in case they had to get back into the car to get their stuff while we were in the show. Well, he lost my keys wondering around NYC. So, I called my friend Adeel who I had stayed over at his place before and met a bunch of times by now (this is about 2 years after we stopped playing CS), and he drove an hour to come and get us and let us sleep at his house. Then helped me pay for getting the car lockpicked and a new key made. That's a real friend...and it started on the interwebs, oh yeah.

Really, my school isn't that bad socially. The classes are made up of kids from all over the state and all of them are competent so there's no one that you just can't stand and everyone's pretty cool and accepting.
The only bad thing is that there are those geniussssssssssssssss kids get down on you for not taking AP/IB Physics and IB Calculus and AP Bio in the same year hahahaha.
and of course, none of the girls put out :idk:
