True Bypass.

Not True Bypass itself but the drones who think it's special but have no idea what it actually is. Marketing hype. Put a 3pdt switch on a pedal and wire it up TBP and all of sudden it's better than every other pedal that it clones.

I will say that I can't stand the MoogerFooger buffers and would consider putting my bass MuRF in a TBP Loop,...or have it modded to TBP.

I had my gear all setup and forgot to plug the MF in and it still let a stunted signal through. WTF Moog,...over $400 for the pedal you could have come up with a better buffer.

I use to be all purist anti-pick, but now maybe I use one 1/15 times for a bit more growl.

By that logic, detuning doesn't work and all string gauges sound exactly the same.

I started out playing pick, then went to fingerstyle exclusively. Now I mix the two,...mainly fingerstyle, but I'm not against playing with a pick.

Since we are on the subject,....slap bass in genre's other than funk/jazz. I'm not impressed or amused fieldy.
