Andrea was pretty dope towards the end of Season 2 I'll say. In this new season it seems everyone is growing more comfortable with the world they live in, you can even see some slight smiles as they shoot/stab zombies.

The first episode was much more fast paced and the end was pretty fucking awesome. I'm liking Rick's new dictatorship, still don't get why he is such a dick to his wife though, she was kind of a bitch to him last season but still it's your fucking pregnant wife :idk:

I kinda hope Carl dies along with her lol

Except he's kinda turning into more than just a worthless tag along shit so far this season, so maybe he can live. At least a little while longer...

Edit: I'm FAMOUS now. Yay!

I've still never seen it all the way through. Kind got bored/fell asleep three times trying to watch it so far. Maybe someday...

As long as Daryl lives, I really don't give a fuck what happens to the others.

I guess Glen and Maggie are cool too.

Yes.

Also, I'm a big fan of the... Ricktatorship.

However...

I'm not super stoked that they skipped the winter between seasons II and III. I get it, because according to the show's logic the zombies slow down during the winter, so it would've been another slow-burner people being stressed out/turning on each other (making it essentially season II all over again), but I wanted to see what winter in Georgia was like.... goddamnit!

Yeah pretty much. Except Lori. She needs to die. :thumb:

I'll stop now.

The Ricktatorship will be an interesting spin for a while, but whereas he's a good leader as far as choices of survival, his humanity needs a lot of working on. The other are too much of whiny pussies to have the balls to get shit done, and he seems to have to force then to do anything. I thunk their is going to be that classic breaking point when the other characters will revolt and abandon one of Ricks plans because they all view it as unsafe or too dangerous, even though we (the audience) will see that it's perfectly fine as long as they listen to his instructions to the "t". And then Lori will thankfully die...

I need help.

I'm curious to see where this whole inmates in the prison thing will go. They looked like they've been down there quite some time.

I actually thought Shane was more interesting than Rick...but I like the balls he's grown.

Yeah, Wild Zero.

I should say, "There's such thing as a zombie movie that actually tries to explain them rationally and in a way that can be taken seriously without just being like: 'Yeah, Romero-esque zombies. Go with it because you're an idiot'?"

Too many questions (I pose these to anyone):
-Why don't zombies eat other zombies?
-If they're so mindless, how does a zombie know what's another zombie and what's a human?
-When, after initial infection, is this distinction made (because clearly zombies are capable of making this distinction or they'd just eat each other until there's one left, who might just eat himself)?
-What kind of infection makes every person specifically crave one kind of sustenance? If that were realistically possible I can't help but think McDonald's would've already spread it and we'd all be munching on McRibs (good god, now I'M hungry, ).
-If you can't answer these questions, why are you wasting money on a movie/TV series when there are plenty of other serious filmmakers who'd love these funds?

I'm not trying to be a hater. It just blows my mind that people don't ask these basic questions nor that the answers aren't already provided by filmmakers. I'm just insanely skeptical of the infection-as-cause explanation and find relying on your audience's acceptance of stereotypical archetypes to be lazy and shitty writing.

And if there's a zombie movie that relies on the basis of "It's just magic, Ooh!" that's totally legit and I would like to see that movie.

And of course there are movies that clearly aren't meant to be serious, and are either funny or try way too hard to be funny and just end up painful to watch *cough* *cough* Shaun of the Dead *cough* *cough*

It's called suspension of disbelief. Most Zombie flicks are allegorical (at least, the moderate-to-good ones), so spending time on the Zombies would detract from the main story (and be boring as shit).

Now, if you wanted to argue for Zombies being a shitty antagonistic force, I'm right there with you. Using zombies is lazy, unless you flip the genre/expectation on its head--ala 28 Days Later, the first film that featured Fast Zombies™ (as well as being one of the first widely seen theater films that was shot entirely on digital cameras).

If the show was all about Daryl arrowing zombies and being a general badass and they cut out pretty much the rest of the cast I'd probably watch it more often.
