I've talked with the President of PGS when I won my Les Lius in a photo contest, he seemed really interested in the photo and wanted to use it. I have no idea if they did. But when I emailed them a higher quality image of the photo it redirected me to some guy and he was pretty short with me. However I emailed them again and got someone totally different who was kind and helpful.

Seems like it's hit or miss with them. :idk:

Nobody takes jars full of fingernail clippings like they used to. Dark times indeed.

god i miss the days where u could sell children
or dump them in an enchanted forest

They're usually pretty open to having a guy whacked in exchange for pedals.
Or is it whacked off. I get them confused.
Either way I always leave PGS feeling a bit dirty.

Totally.

It's easy with pedals that actually sound good and have a wide and useful range of settings. But they even make shitty pedals sound good. Or they find the 10% of settings that sound good and spend the whole demo on that.

I used to be indifferent on PGS, but after their Kalamazoo vs Klon video, it made me reconsider the level of bias that is probably going in to how the videos are shot and edited.

I hate the sound of their demos. Everything sounds thin and brash and every amp/dirt pedal sounds the same. I know it's only youtube audio, but I've heard way better. I also can't stand Andy's voice and increasingly sugary sales pitchy intros anymore. I don't any problems with them businesswise, just can't stand the demos anymore.
