running is awful. so are long hikes; especially going up a mountain when it's almost 100 degrees out.
Man, when I clicked on this thread, I had no idea that this was going to be a "hate all forms of physical activity and everyone who does it" thread
At the end of this month, me and three friends are flying out to Montana to climb Granite Peak. I can't fucking wait
I like physical activity. I'm just lazy.
It's been a long time since I've gone on a good hike - really wish I could again. Hopefully when my son is old enough (i.e. in the next year or so) we'll start taking him on some short hikes.
My routine wake up at 9am record play music. 12:00 work as a bike messenger in downtown Los Angeles. out at 7 pm. One hour ride after work 10 miles Go home work on more music. The bike riding helps clear my head out and be able to focus on music. I skateboarded for 20 years until the knees gave out. Started biking about 15 years ago and that helped bring my knees back. Mountain biking is like skateboarding but faster. Some encouragement: I know physical activity seems hard and with work and the family ect how do you fit it in but once you start you will miss it if you stop. Exercise really helps the mind as well as the body. In this current society "They'' want to dumb us down sit on the couch and watch instead of do. I see this as the same as the choice of buying a Boss pedal or a Small Sound Big Sound pedal. Take control of your life. I am 47 years old and I want to be able to take care of myself for as long as I am alive especially since the health care system sucks I can't rely on that. Enough ranting LET'S MAKE SOME NOIZE!!!
