i would try wiring the circuit without the switch first. its a stepping stone to getting a fully functional pedal.

Great idea. When I'm testing out a board, I never wire it up with a switch until I've already verified it's all good.
That reminds me: I need to build a testing enclosure with all that shit wired up. I've been stalling on that since the middle of 2007.

I built one last week and it didn't work. Been tossed aside ever since

Now I can't even make a test board, let alone a pedal, wtf?...something to do with that funky switch wiring

How do you not use any wires?
Also, anyone else want to draw up a diagram or take photos of theirs so we can compare?

Ok, I'm beginning troubleshooting my wiring.
So far:
Input Jack: Check.
Output Jack: Check. (One question here, on BeavisAR they show the ground used here separate from the ground used for the other components. I however used only 1 ground point. Problem?)
Foot Switch: See diagram (?)
Potentiometer: See diagram (?)
LED: Check.
Power: Check.
One thing has occurred to me. I wired the pot as though the view in the schematic was looking at the back of it. Is it perhaps assuming a front view and my connections are reversed?

Did you wire your output jack right? From your diagram on page two, it looks like you might have wired it in reverse.

The output jack in the Beavis Audio Stompbox Wiring diagram is drawn wrong.

Damn...
That may be it. Got to go to work now, but I'll check when I get home tonight. I think that is the problem. Thanks man.

I'm almost positive this would do nothing but reverse the direction of rotation...like you normally turn to the right for "more," it would make it turn left for "more."

Ok. Well I guess I have it wired correctly then anyway.
* Nifty but kinda pointless idea: Make a fuzz with an oscillation switch, wire the pots backwards, and call it the "Counter Fuzzwise Rotation"
