Oh man, I wish I had more Fuzzz!

As of now I have two, I think I might be satisfied when I have all there are...
But since I've started building up a nice collection of pedals I have been concentrating on Delay. Now I'm done with that and I even have more than I need, I can start on the next block: Dirt! So all the pedal-money for next month will go into Fuzzes and Distortion. Just that I can't make up my mind which ones to get... Dammit! There are so many cool ones out there!

I am coming to the realization that even though I always have a wah and or a filter on my board I never use them or am never happy with the end result on gigs.

I think it is because I was brainwashed by various forms/forums of bass media that for funky shit you should have one..
I like them for synth sounds but have always battled every one I have ever had for the "right" funky sound.

I have decided.

I'm taking them off my board....

And replacing them with more dirt.

Which I actually use!

I had an envelope filter, but realized that funk lies mostly in playing, not filtering. I traded it for a Rat.

Very wise you be. That is what I found out a long time ago and 1/4 through the song they always get turned off...
Still for synth sounds they rock I have 6 of the things.... and two wahs...

Just wait till I get my synth board worked out! it will be epic............epic!

I probably have a dozen or so fuzzes that I swap in and out depending on mood. I usually have no more than 3 on my board tho due to space issues. Right now it's a Fuzzbrite, Melxowtone and a Muff Diver Epic (which is like 5 fuzzes on it's own).
