In terms of wedding stuff we've gotta bust our ass to put together all the decorations for around the reception hall over the next few weeks. Making paper flowers and center pieces and shit. Got fitted for my tux a few weeks ago, along with my best man. Everyone on her side all have their dresses, she just got her dress back from alterations. It's all coming together!

Gone full retard, having owned the RE-20 for less than 12 hours and putting it back on the evilBay.

Cack FX loop, expensive pedal and not being able to justify, having to buy more cables and possibly even a boost or a mod means I'm getting angsty over it, so I'm just going to resell.

Fuck it.

Alright, so.

Who has experience with 90's Reissue OD120's? My buddy (who lives a couple provinces over from me) may be selling his. He talks very highly of it.

Anyone ever compare them to a 70's OD or OR120/OR80?

I have an OTR which is THE SAME, except a few very small differences.

They're good. Loud, but not as loud as you'd expect at 120 watts. Low/Mid gain, kinda dark, a lot of grind, the FAC is handy as fuck, it handles pedals well and covers a lot of styles.

They can be unreliable, and they're unsupported by Orange since they were built by Matamp (who I found to be very unhelpful) who you'd have to go to for a fix. They also wont give away the schematic, so my tech had to fix it unaided, and it took a long time to troubleshoot.

That was just my amp which was a dog when I bought it. If you know they guy and know it's not fucked already, you'll be buying a great amp.

Thanks man. Sounds like its up my alley tone-wise.
Definitely been running more pedals then usual too.

Yep, I know the guy who owns it. He takes good care of his stuff,
He sold me my current amp.

What's unreliable about them?

I have never found my original 70's OR120 to be unreliable at all. I like mine a lot the F.A.C knob makes it perfect for any tweaking, it's so good that I'm slowly whittling away the amount of pedals I use just because I don't need it. There is so much coolness in an Orange amp, not only for doom. This amp is the farthest from one trick pony.

Got a mic stand tonight, so I was able to position it in the proper location for recording. This is my first test:

ARC Gamut -> Madbean Egghead Overdrive -> EA Super Collider -> Eventide Timefactor -> TC Trinity Reverb -> Out 1 to Verellen stack with kickdrum mic, Out 2 to Epi Valve Junior with 60's Vocal Mic
