The Echo Base is pretty sick. I have a little work that I need to do on mine, but it works and it sounds really amazing. The repeats sit back nicely and the modulation is super dreamy. It can get pretty freaky too and it even does an interesting chorus sound.
All in all I'd put it up against just about any other delay out there
I should clarify that I didn't mean that Culturejam did that intentionally. I figured it was just on the stamp that he bought.
But also when I look at the "!" next to the switch I read it as "boom", though that might just be because I'm a dumbass and I need to entertain myself.
Sorry CJ it really is a great looking and sounding build
The stamp came from Michaels craft store. It originally said "Time Flies" or something lame at the bottom, so I cut that part off.
Never noticed the actual time, but I do believe you guys are right. I'm sure it wasn't an accident, but the whimsical message at the bottom doesn't exactly line up with a serious topic like 9/11.

You could probably do that with any delay if you jacked in the flanger at the right spot.
What I meant was that I added extra pads so that you can hook up some kind of variable resistance element to the Time pot to "wiggle" the time value (which is what creates the cool chorus sound). You can do the same thing by wiring it directly to the pot, but I like having the extra pads. It's just neater in the finished build.
