Like I said, I only had a couple minutes today, and I only have a little guitar combo at home. I'll see if I can get some clips at rehearsal next week.

I'm the wrong guy to ask about weight, because I've never really been all that sensitive to heavy basses. I'm a big guy and I've never had back problems, so I don't mind playing a 10 or 11 pound bass for a 3-hour set. I know that some guys would end up in traction if they tried to do that.
I like the neck, it's reasonably fast. But if you're looking for a thin jazz-like neck, you won't like it. I like fat necks.

Lol fat neck and heavy bass is actually what I'm looking for. My jazz being all maple weighs about four or five pounds more than my p bass, and you can tell by how they sound. I like a good and thick heavy bass with a chunky p bass neck. Better tone, and to me I can play them a lot better. Prolly cause its closer to my upright.

The L-2500 is solid swamp ash. As a wild-ass-guess, I'd say it's around 10 pounds. And yeah, fat p-type neck.

No huge rush...I've not heard one of those before (usually don't get a lot of options here in the valley unless a used one shows up somewhere) and I've been curious about the tone in general. LOVE the orange, btw and tell me (again) what the switches are for, please.
And yeah - the douche thread has been a highlight of the week here. Dude just will
not let it go.

From left to right, the switches are: passive/active/active w/top boost | series/parallel | bridge/both/neck
