I'm taking it "change" is "more blowjobs."

Seriously, what the fuck were people expecting? Executive orders to legalize weed and a peaceful annexation of Canada? Grow up(not directed at you personally).

Well, I'm off of work and can be lazy now. That's nice.

I got a new job as a bar cook! This should be fun. Especially because I know this bar has some fine looking waitresses and one super cute bartender.

Also, I'm starting to get sick of my other job(after a month lol), the inconsistent schedule and the mixed priorities that come with multiple bosses.

I'll be the first to admit that I expected too much from one man.

That's the advantage of being a moderate liberal: All the smugness with none of the expectations.

The 08 elections really opened my eyes to the process; It doesn't matter who they are, what party they are from; what color they are, what gender they are. They are all liars, and voting doesn't do a gawdammed thing.

In happy news,....I'm eating a bowl of Lucky Charms.

Mmmmmmm

It's really checks and balances that are to blame. Our government is essentially set up to not do anything. The individual cogs in the machine are doing the best they can(often against each other). It's just the bureaucracy is designed to make sure no one has too much power and we don't have a dictatorship.

Basically it's shitty democracy or horrible tyranny. Them founding fathers knew what they were doing.

i'm neither happy, excited, nor generally content. however, Buddy, my favorite cat, is sleeping in front of the heater, and as he sometimes does he's snoring intermittently, which i find delightfully charming and hilarious. he's so great.

We've been building fires in our fireplace in the new homestead,....it's been excellent,...it's raining right now and it's only about 50 degrees which is genuinely not that cold, but a small fire helps to take the chill off and keep us from consuming too much oil. I wish I could split some more firewood as there is something gratifying about wielding an axe, but the rain is preventing me.
