Awesome good to hear!!! I need crazy low, the 12's have amazing mids / low mids/ and upper lows but once i get down into B territory it starts not being able to reproduce the frequencies. Since I have to eq with a rack ton of lows (i play more ambient bass that you feel more then you "hear") I've been itching for an 18".

Here is my brand new homemade cabinet. When you hear it next to the open back orange the orange is just like a fizzy fart. The new one, loaded with two G12K100's, man, it's just insane!! Love the fat bottom end, love the sound. With my laney KLIPP it sounds heavy heavenly!!

The 18 is what you want then. I'm tuned to B and the shit is thunderous!

Score! That Acoustic 301 cab I found apparently had a blow speaker and was beat to shit so I'm just gonna save to get the matching Emp 1x18.

I tried, alas i was second in line. I think next week I'm gonna throw up either my megalith or my tectonic shift as trade bait... depends on if i want to go passive bass + an eq pedal, or replace the EMG tonepot on my p-bass with an EMG BTC so I can boost the lows. Megalith loves actives and the tectonic shift loves passive basses.... vintage or modern tone.... gah I'm pulling my hair out.....
