Fixed my first broken instrument cable. It's a small victory but a victory none the less. Hey I saved myself a trip to Guitar Center,...and anytime I can avoid that place,...is good.

Muy Bueno!

I have no happiness to report. I'm just here to vicariously absorb it from y'all.

This may be the two free double Gin and Tonics talking but I love life.

I have an amazing wife and an amazing home and work with some amazing people.

The fact that I made a fruit salad (not on the menu) that was impressive enough that more people at the table wanted the same made me feel good about my skills and was a much needed ego boost in a day that had a few too many disappointing (albeit not irreparable) mistakes.

I look at all the entitlement and bullshitery of such things that are broached in the Occupy Wall Street thread,...but when I look at the gripes,...the things those people seek are nothing but an illusion. Make smart decisions,...find your niche,...work to live as opposed to living to work, prioritize the things you need and be satisfied with what you have and realize that the rest of it is just an illusion and truly doesn't matter.

TL;DR. I FUCKING <3 MY LIFE.

Kinda bummed that I had to take one of the cats to the Humane Society last week. But the wonderful restful complete nights of sleep I've gotten since dropping the howling lil' bastard off make me feel pretty good about it.

More important; with actual sleep I feel hell more motivated during the day and tons less anxious and stressed. Cut back on anx meds already. Getting stuff done and backlogged stuff caught up.

Excited as heck to get my Laney GH50L back from the shop this week too. Should be a near-perfect 50 watt pedal-love tube amp.

Yeah dude, getting proper sleep will make your life a hell of a lot better. Mental instability(of all kinds) feeds off irregular sleeping patterns.
