My main amps (not talking about the small Ashdown though, haha): Fender Bassman 10 and HH VS Musician with an old Marshall 8x10 filled with Jensens.
I have a Laney AOR with Carlsbro 4x12 to the left of this pic, but my bandmate is playing it because his amp is broke.

Hey! A VS Musician. Never really got used to mine so it's under the bed and waiting for better times. How does it sound with a cab that big?

How do you like the AOR? I have one and love it to death. It is such a sleeper!

I used to play the VS Musician through the 4x12" and liked it very much, it takes pedals really well. I'm liking it a bit less through 10" speakers, but these speakers are new so maybe I still have to break them in a little.

The AOR is so great, best amp in it's price range I think. Got new tubes for it a couple of weeks ago, and the tech was really impressed with the build quality too!
And you get teh Sleep tonez ofcourse

one day my back is gonna get sore and i'll have to find a smaller alternative to what I got.
must be nice having Emperor cabs close enough to get them to ship...

Yeah, def lucky to have Emperor so close. I don't even bother with shipping, we just head up for the weekend to pick shit up and then run around their facility and Chicago raising hell. Good times! :thumb:

The Orange is actually a new OR15 head, 2xEL84. It rules, loud as shit and super mean sounding while retaining some old school Orange vibe. I run it and a second Emperor 1x12 (not pictured) in stereo with the Ampeg gvt15H which is actually from the new gvt series. Another 15W head but this one has 2x6V6s and tons of clean headroom so the two really compliment one another.

The Ampeg is a touch misleading though as they don't come stock looking like mine. I had some free/down time and extra 70s era grill cloth left over from my recent V4 overhaul and decided to give this one some retro-stylings as well. Dunwich Nick hooked it up with a replica 70s era Ampeg "baby badge" which looks BADASS, finished fitting and wrapping the baffle recently, much better now.

Used more of that free time to refinish all the amp and cab corners and Dunwich knob skirts and concentric knob in various hammered metal finishes as well and sparkle black for the Orange. Just a buncha random cosmetic things I've been tweaking over the summer giving that shit pointlessly unique/custom touches but it turned out nicely in the end.

There's a couple different silverface Bassman's at a local shop. I should go try them out some day.

I put this cab together for a friend but he was only going to use it as a Cab for his PA system
so I gave him an old traynor PA for it

sounds massive with the kustom head, top speaker is open bottom is closed back
and I have separate inputs so that at some point I can rock this with two heads as stereo!!!

I love those old Kustom tuck and rolls! They were built not too far from where I live. My uncle got a really killer vintage one I'll have to photograph at thanksgiving/christmas.

With out looking it up because I don't remember... the plus is a lot louder and has more crushing lows where the 400 is more just big and tooby.. It's gritty sound is a bit more gritty.. really nice amp.. it does what the SVT did for me but not as much of a back breaker.. or as honky sounding..

As a white person, I take offense to that... ;)

Nice amps, duder.
