I have this really weird feeling that I get when I see pedals that are tiny that make sounds that are huge. And then I get the urge to shout out loud TEEENY TINY. TEENY TIIIIINY.
Looks awesome Dan

I once saw that J Mascis had a Fuzz Factory on his board. It was purple sparkle, matched his guitar, and looked rad. So I made this in tribute of him:

There is no higher calling in pedal building than a Mascis tribute! Fine work indeed.
Did you paint that yourself, or is that lovely color on offer at Mammoth or somewhere similar?

Thanks man, I had a lot of fun with it. Really straight forward build
It's from Pedal Parts Plus and I believe it to be grossly similar if not the same color purple as Mascis' Fuzz Factory as well!

Forgot to mention I bumped up the input and output caps. Still a really really bright sounding pedal, but now its a really really bright sounding DEAFENINGLY LOUD pedal. I was in pain trying to test it out last night in front of my cab.

SO RAD.
What input and output caps did you settle on? Mine must be abnormally dark sounding or something. Everyone describes them as really bright but mines not really. It's pretty thick and woolly.

Thanks dude! I put a 22uf on the input and 68uf on the output. I think I might definitely add a higher value cap to the front though as its really not dark at all. Maybe 50uf, 100uf? I'm not sure:(

BUT, I was playing single coils. But you play single coils and yours is dark. Hmmmmm. Luckily there is enough track on the 22uf that I put in that I can just connect different caps until I get something that I dig!

I got the parts for the Muff in the mail yesterday! The only reason I was able to put together the Fuzz Factory last night was because I had pieces of scrap wire from different projects laying around. Wunna and gunna use fresh wire in da Muff. The order from Mammoth with the fresh 22 guage wire should be here by today or tomorrow or at the latest Saturday (it shipped Monday) so I should be able to get it rewired on Saturday and start the modding!
