Yeah, it's a Celestion Vintage 30, and it's fine for playing at home so far :thumb: :)

Ah, I mispoke. Ampeg is being a good guy(tm) and sending me a new one of the same amp, and I'm sending the first one back under warranty, because the reverb tank is noisy and/or shot (can't actually hear any reverb with in it on)

I should get my "rig" set up in my practice space and take a pic.

Technically I could my other amp (Ampeg Jet-IIR reissue) as a "clean" amp or stereo them or whatever. For more louds.

i read in a few places that the first batch had duds in the reverb. a bunch of stores sent the first order right back to the distributor, which is why so many stores took a really long time to get them in stock.
now posting as Forrrest.

^ Yep. The 15W specifically. I had the faulty verb too, hissed like a sonofabitch and even Ampeg took 4 months getting new stock. They were awesome though, brand new head, covered all shipping costs, threw in free footswitch (reverb and effects loop control), so all good in the end. :thumb:

My main amps (not talking about the small Ashdown though, haha): Fender Bassman 10 and HH VS Musician with an old Marshall 8x10 filled with Jensens.
I have a Laney AOR with Carlsbro 4x12 to the left of this pic, but my bandmate is playing it because his amp is broke.
