I basically send the same two boards each year, with slight variation. Think they're pretty easily recognizable, due to the etches and choices of pedals. But yeah, going through loads of pedals isn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as you enjoy it and aren't caught in the hype-stream, but I tend to dig boards that seem to have a clear idea/style behind them more.

This is me too. I've always submitted the pedalboard/s I've been working with. Fundamentally, my board doesn't change much - it just grows.

I'll say specifically buying pedals (then selling them after) just for making a kick-ass BILF board seems pretty ridiculous to me but

Next year mine will pretty much be the same with a couple things added but more organized and with an improved signal chain. I just don't have the means to work on improving my pedal setup while paying off a custom Matamp haha

my board hasn't changed much from last year and i'm waiting on the ct5 i ordered. so i'll probably enter next year unless for some crazy reason my ct5 shows up before friday.

Usually I put something a bit different together but mine this year is just the board I've been using recently, because I absolutely love it. Not particularly creative but it's a set of pedals that work really well to do what I want.

Also I'm lazy.

I used it as an excuse to buy a pedal that I've been meaning to get and tidy my board up, but other than that it's not really different

I submitted an imaginary board, which is essentially my planned tabletop pedal board. I think some people may recognise it because I posted part of it as an idea awhile ago. But still. I think it's awesome
