The first complete one is complete. I freaked out for awhile because it was not working, I made an error in the pcb design such that there was an island int he ground plain... i quadruple checked my work of course but it always happens when you are checking your own work. FORTUNATELY the error is fixed with an easy jumper, so NBDs i swear!
now... i tried to make a video, but its late and i dont want to piss my neighbors off. plus i was out of tune. and the amp (vox da5) sounds like rubbish when pushed, because it is not good for that. i know i can coax some decent tone out of it though, so i will try again tomorrow.
bottom line: dirty mode is a gutsy bluesy overdrive. clean mode is just clean version of it of course, but I set up the first one (preboost version) with clean chan dimed, and man, its pretty cool, cuz it pushes the dirty side into some brighter distortion, and the whole thing can clean up with gentle picking or your volume knob pretty well. keep in mind im playing mellowly wound single coils though.
anyways, fun pedal!
i will make a video in the morning, and then get on with the building marathon!

Ok, I am uploading a video now. I think it sounds pretty bad because it's camera audio. So don't judge it harshly... I'd just rather show you a crappy video than no video at all.
It should be much better for you in person, and through a proper amp.
I play bypassed, then into the dirty channel, then i boost it with the clean channel, then roll back soem guitar volume, then i play just the clean channel, which sounds more distorted than it really is because a)its overdriving the amp and b) its camera audio.
anyways, it's really a fun pedal to play! and if you have a melxowtone... your gonna have a fun knobless dirt section.

it's really not too hot, but keep an open mind. i mihgt be able to record a real clip this weekend right before they ship out though.

adding LEDs yourself wont be too hard... even the non led ones have 3pdts, and i put current limiting resistors for leds on EVERY pcb, so you can always upgrade it yourself at a later date!

very cool of you, and even tho that vid has some seriously nasty compression going on it sounds like it has potential.
is there going to be a thread for "mods" for these pedals? I might move the volume trim pots to the outside but I wonder if adding a tone control or two would be feasible as well?
great stuff here.

This is great to know. I can't remember if I ordered LEDs or not, but I plan to put them in as well as a DC jack.
Eric, sadly I'm trading my OD prototype today. I'm kinda sad because I was gonna take a Mellowtone LE picture with the Melxowtone and the CC/DC. Oh well, there's always photoshop :D
