SUPER MEGA PRODUCTIVITY!!!!!!
I got a LOT of shit done last night, and tonight I will have another night to work ALL night. Finishing the drilling and wiring on Fungals DFX9, gonna drop the new board into KB's TTT, and take a look at the volume drop on Rot Gut's WSG!

Walp, the guts of the DFX9 decided that they'd had enough, and started acting funny. So I've bought a new DFX9 to move the trimpots onto the outside for Fungal. Turned the carcass of Fungal's into the start of Ryan Summit's fuzz. Parts were ordered last night for Behndy's Volume Pedal project. Located all the knobs for the WSG. Missus made a lot of dishes tonight cooking, so since she cooked I clean em. That's my job the rest of the night

Tonight I worked on Ryan's fuzz a bit, took all the pots out of KB's TTT and swapped in fresh ones, populated part of Mathias' TTT board and drilled his enclosure, and had a dinner party with some friends. After it got to late to drill anything, I added a line out to the GGG Tiny Amp that I had put together a LONG time ago, and hooked it up to the Verellen 1x12. Shit is LOUD (pictured in front of second picture)
Here' what's on my slate:

I think I'm going to make another in a headshell along with a footswitchable SHO and Rub A Dub in it, and stain it ebony to match the Verellen. It sounds SO good

deets on that? wattage? tube? is that an A/B channel switch? guessing one knob's volume, what's the other?

It's the GGG board, it's a half watt SS amp but its fucking LOUD. I would be scared to try out MusicPCB's 20w solid state kit as I can't even hardly put this past 2. It sounds like the Verellen on about 4!
It's got a gain and a MV, I added a switch for power and a switch to select between internal speaker and external cab!
PROGRESS TONIGHT!
I've been working on populating PCB's. I've got 90% of Mathias' TTT board loaded, added the last few parts to KB's TTT board, about to start on the FY-2 board.
Plugged in the WSG tonight without the SHO after it and there was no signal coming through, I'm guessing the only reason I heard it previously is because I had a SHO cranked on it the last time I plugged it in. Going to tinker around with it some more tonight, hopefully wire in the SHO circuit at the end.

Oh man. That pedal is going to be epic!
Also, the little amp is cool. I had a similar experience using my orange micro crush (lm386 based 1 watt battery amp) through a Weber 8" special from the valve junior. Was loud, and very jazzy cleans. It's surprising because we usually discount little battery amps because they're pushing a 4-5" cheap paper speaker.
I need to get back on building my SS practice amp project. I was at a luthier's house the other day, and she's taken to rehousing 80's Gorilla-brand battery amps with a car battery (or other big 12V battery) in big 1x12 combos with 12" speakers. Loud and nasty in overdrive, since the Gorillas are a transistor amp. Inspired me to consider a battery-powered version of my echidna. (Another neat thing about these rehoused amps was that there is plenty of room inside for a cheap Zoom multi effects unit. May not be the best multi-FX out there but it's better than nothing, right?)
Of course, where those things are loud (w/ 60hertz hum included) and just typical SS tone, I'm going for that hifi tube harmonics on my amps. Had a hard time articulating why since this luthier was more of a "anything cheap works" person when it comes to amps and effects. (But her guitars -- and arch top electric mandolins -- are really nice! And I'm building my Telemaster over there this winter.
