Rich white boy TGP dentist youth pastor bowling shirts and Suhr strat blues sucks donkey dicks, but don't be hatin on the good guys.
Agreed! There is some good texas blues, just not the corksniffer dumbledouche tgp crap.
Also: Both excited and disturbed that this thread has surfaced again.

The best blues has never come out of Texas, regardless of era.

I was about to agree with your statement, until I reread it.
You obviously are misinformed.
All electric blues (and hence electric guitar music) comes from Texas. (Ahem, T-Bone Walker?)

T-Bone might be from Texas, but he'd left the Lone Star state for L.A. by the time he recorded all those monster tracks.
Also, Chicago is the birthplace of electric blues, hombre.

But I haven't even gotten to the mojo tones from my 1959 Goldtop Les Paul (that I'm not sure really exist because I keep it in a hermetically sealed wing of my McMansion) yet!

This is probably a bad time to mention my stockpile of TS9's. They keep the original dynamics of the input signal, and vastly improve the clarity and responsiveness of my Dumbles.
Gotta run, my boss wants to discuss a new client on the back nine.

Blind Lemon Jefferson is from Texas and I like him.
I guess I just like my blues acoustic.
