Contact Nick for pricing (but i will say for a completely custom built head it was a steal), since the Naki was a custom order he may not build you an identical unit but just let him know exactly what your looking for and he will walk you down the right path. The meatsmoke is nice as well but if your using it for guitar you will never truly use 300watts, plus the maintanence cost of the tubes goes up by 50% in comparison to a 4xkt88 200watt amp.

Here is what I'm rollin with for at home.

Image

A Pignose G40V 40 watt tube amp with 12AX7's I poached out of a defunct Hammond A Series Organ. Not sure if they are Mullards or RCA's. :idk:

I want to replace the stock power tubes and the stock speaker. Has a little bit too much of a hollow sound to it.

The rat fur cab next to it is a jury rigged bass cab I made from an Ashdown Perfect 10 SS bass amp. I gutted the amp; wired up a jack to the driver and am using the Pignose to drive the cab. Kinda diggin the sound of the bass cab with guitar as well,...especially when I've got my Supercollider engaged.

$200 and very few complaints.

I'll drop him an email. I'm strongly considering now. Seems like I can squeeze every bit of amp I need into a build, I don't need much. haha.

Gah, really considering moving my Budda. ha

Do it! I'm on the waitlist for one (maybe like 6 months until my build is up but it gives me time to save and still pay my bills) and Nick will design exactly what you need :thumb:

Nick's custom build prices CANNOT BE FUCKED WITH! Srsly, never imgined I'd get ahold of a completely custom amp with that insanely gorgeous build quality, full access to the builder to bother him about every little detail, shit tons of pics documenting the build, etc, etc, etc, for such a fair price. Mind boggling.

The Dunwich experience is a good one no doubt! :thumb:

here's my rig. same old. hasn't changed. not planning on changing it. maybe getting a second SVT-VR head when the marshall superbass gets sold.

that 810 sure looks small in the picture. maybe I should get a 2nd one of those too.
but this is how crowded(and small) my practice space is
Image
so probably not.
now posting as Forrrest.
