annnnnnnd i just ordered another TAFM with a gate switch. i've been wanting to find some other people to jam with, and i want to have a smaller board of shit i love without having to tear down my main 'un.

I got my TAFM back today, I re-bought it from the dude I sold it to. It's so nice to play through!

Well, I finally said screw it and bought the L-2500. Gonna have to sell off my Carvin and my ESP to pay for it. It was a good run with the Carvin, it was my main bass for a decade. But every clip I hear of the G&L is making me drool.

get at him! if he hasn't sent it yet, GET HIM TO PUT ONE IN. it takes all the usefullness of running gated into filter and adds three spoonfulls of ANGER. i love this fucking pedal.

his is the most natural sounding gate i've heard with fuzz. i HATE the Brown Dog. sounds like hot backyard crunchy dog poo. blegh. the slight movement on held notes with the TAFM turns into sputtery jiggle-TASTIC ending flub outs when it's gated, or just Only Thing Nu-Metal Did Right clean breaky parts. SUPER delicious.

his pedals are SO lucky they don't have butt-holes. i'd be all up IN them bitches.

I've played some 6-ers, but honestly, I just never found myself using that C string.

i know. just being stoopid. i get to be silly with chordings and frequency range right now (no guitarist) and LURV it.

I just don't like how the necks feel, but oh I could find use for that C string... in the right context.

That would be pretty beastly. I'd have to use a piano string for that F# tho
