The "should I leave the pickguard plastic on?" thread is killing me. As is the thread about Fender flatwounds where this dude asks "are they like Chromes?" and the living advertisement is raging at him like "THESE STRINGS ARE NOT CHROME! HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO ASK THAT?!"

I missed the pickguard thread...fortunately.

I knew someone that had cheap a Fernandes J and they left the plastic on there for over a year....

I hate that plastic shit. There are always remnants left around the PG screws and I'm to lazy to unscrew them slightly to get them out.

You should alternate. Practice for 10-15 minutes, then read a few threads, back to practice, then ILF, repeat.

went and watched Dehli Belly last night. it's an Indian movie that's trying to be their answer to The Hangover. had some funny parts, and i know a LEETLE about their culture so i get what they're trying to do when they lampoon their obsession with celebrity, it just didn't resonate enough to be that humorous. best part is the main bad guy would throw in a "you SISTERFUCKER" every fifth sentence and some other cats dropped it. like it was HOT.

my friend's Metal/Growly band (they'd be so much better with a SINGER) just played with (i forget the name) that Iraqui band that a bunch of bigger metal bands paid to get then out of there before their practice place got bombed or shot up again 'cause they had long hair and all that. wasn't my thing but they were SO damn enthusiastic. fun to watch.

yeah. they are DOWN for their shit. they could be playing Bieber covers while dressed all steampunk through found art encrusted recorders and i'd respect them more than like 80% of the bands out there.
