Trump saying "We need to know why these people are coming here" about refugees is the stupidest thing ever. If you're constantly talking about how great America is and how terrible ISIS is, that should be obvious.

I mean that implies a level of thinking that I'm not sure really enters into the equation.

Compared to the past, it's better. Is it great? No. I don't believe so. I think we delude ourselves so much that we actually believe the "greatest country in the world" bs sometimes.

It can always be better, but it's not terrible either. It certainly would be nice if we didn't have so many issues, but I suppose every country does. I guess to me saying the country is great is being complacent with the way it is, and I refuse to be that way. I want things to change for the better of all. They probably never will though regardless of who the puppet in the White House is.
