Okay, so I started watching Nichijou. I have no freaking idea what is going on. It's pretty great.

Over the past few nights I've gone through the manga Ressentiment.
It's about a 30-year-old fat virgin loser who lives with his parents in their shabby store.
It's set in the near-future but technology has advanced to the point where virtual reality is like...the shit. So this guy's equally worthless (and only kind of) friend introduces him to the wonderful world of VR dating sims.

At first I thought it would just be kinda amusing to read through but dude, it was AWESOME. I could relate to the protagonist on some levels but he was also a really disgusting person, never the hero. I also liked the art style and how many of the characters were at best normal, but usually ugly.
I laughed, which manga never makes me do. I even shed a manly tear at one point.
Shit, so good. If you liked NHK I would have to recommend it.

In other news, I've most recently watched Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan. Apparently angels get diarrhea when you steal their halo. This was news to me.

FlCl got me back into anime and how in the same way that Sandman and 100 Bullets did for comics.

Is Samurai Champloo worth finishing? The second half is really dragging for me.

The second half of Samurai Champloo was a bit slower than the first, to me, but it does have some of my favorite moments.
That blind chick, the baseball episode, the last three episodes...ALL ROCK.
The Okuru one too. I dunno which that is.

I think I'm the only person who doesnt like Elven Lied.
