Thanks, bud. Alaska was amazing. We drove up there in my truck with a really tiny camper that I built. It was mind blowing the whole time. So much of the best nature ever and so few people. I've really not done much vacation as an adult that wasn't tour. It was killer.

So, in a recent conversation with Briz regarding Westside Welding and Machine in Vancouver, it's sounding like families have been gentrifying out the old industrial part of town aspect and so noise levels are now a concern. My understanding is that a group of weirdos is still welcome to mob the place and drink/eat/smoke - we just can't do it at concert volumes or late at night. So perhaps this is best placed as a B plan if other cheap venue falls through.

Sounds like the crowd is sort of dwindling too, I'm still looking forward to it..

So we're at less than one month, is this shin-dig still on the books?

I'm assuming this is no longer happening, lost it's steam. We should try again for like mid next year though. I'm pulling the trigger and rescheduling my days off.

Still some time yet to prove it on? I do have other reasons to zip up into the area, so I'd be up to grab tea/beer/sound with locals or nomads at some point.
