Well, you're getting jibbed out of at least one umlaut just by being in Norway. But when you arrive in Sweden you can trade up an ø for an ö.

I just realised it's sensible for us to stock up on beer at systembolaget before we hit the road.

Never thought I'd be bringing Swedish alcohol overseas to save money...
Depending on how much room we have I can bring some cabs and some tubes.

Arriving on the 8th would be best, simply because the rehersal space isn't supposed to be a place for people to sleep. Could cause us trouble and jeopardize the rest of the weekend. From friday the 8th at 5 or 6pm, there are no one else in the building but the bands playing there (or, at least there shouldn't be), meaning we're free to do whatever we want.

Also, for the non-swedes at least, I'll buy a shitload-ish of beer, so don't worry about being presented to our glorious alcohol taxes.

I can supplement EA's efforts towards "shitload-ish", too.

I know I'm a special snowflake as far as timing but is there a time on the 8th that works better for us to arrive? (i.e. early afternoon, evening, the break of day as the dragons descend from their roosts, etc.)

Is it a good idea to grab a cab at the airport and meet you guys in the city wherever the rendezvous is? Is someone else landing at Oslo airport around that time so we can share?

Are cab overly expensive in Norway or should I expect something similar to Paris or Berlin (10-15€ from the airport to the city)?

Use the train from the airport to Oslo Central Station. Do NOT take a cab from Gardermoen to Oslo. If several of you are arriving at the same time, I could meet you at the airport.

What confuses me with that answer is the all caps "NOT". Are all the cab drivers convicted rapists or something?
