I kind of look at it like unlocking functionality. Loop switchers especially.
The more routing and switching you can do easier, the more options sonically you open up.
Probably more of a live thing true, but you gotta bring the thunder live.
The options on that look pretty sweet.

Didn't Boss show that off at NAMM 2015 or am I taking crazy pills? I swear this isn't the first time I saw a programmable bypass loop from them.

Alright I'm not crazy, cool. I remember liking the ES-8 but I'm not spending $700 on that thing ever, and it looks like the ES-5 is gonna be expensive as fuck as well.

So.... :idk: I'm buying the VB-2w though, it's such a pleasing vibrato sound.

Is it weird that I want one to pair with my Warped Vinyl despite the fact I have zero use for such pitch fuckery?

I... never liked the VB-2.

I'll show myself out...

I don't think so. The VB-2 sounds so different than like every Vibrato I've ever heard. I don't really get what it is about it that makes it sound different to me.

Yeah it's boring. Sometimes boring gets shit done.

Yeah fuck the price tag. I won't be getting it. In fact, at this point I'm not even sure if it's the loop switcher I need, if it's overkill or if it will completely miss the mark entirely.
If those loops are all true stereo, allow trails through and are able to be lie levelled or even controlled....that's a big deal.
The MIDI assignment thing is interesting but pointless to me (probably only speaks to Boss shit anyway), so that's lame.
But making patches and stacking shit is pretty awesome. You have to concede.
If this does those first three things, I might nab one second hand.

It's not that amazing. Really.
It sounds like an even keeled vibe, which is just a throb by phaser.
True vibes are uneven which gives them the proper seasick throb.
Which is why they are better.
To be fair, it sounds nice for what it does. But it isn't all swirly swirly disorientation of airwaves.

The VB2 has my interest hardcore. But I use the vibe on my Jazz Chorus a ton, so...

And we'll see what street is on the loop switcher, I'm definitely in the market for one.

cool idea but i'm not sure the demos showed the best of it
Yeah, could've used better demos. Interesting concept. Ryan's a solid dude. Love the family aspect of their business. It's a ton of fun to watch. Sort of interested in the EQ/tone shaper.

Yes, but the company demo is brutal. It's like if Spiritualized was violated by a dubstep band and then covered by One Direction.
Haha that's some corny music, but it does make me want to buy it and run it into the Minilogue and become a cyborg.
