What's the story behind that?
The story behind that is that is a false statement.
Maybe the first Devi pedal, but certainly not the first pedal.
I'm not going to lie, this makes me a lot more interested in Devi Ever pedals. No offense to Devi at all, she definitely made some excellent pedals, she just wasn't very good at the professional/business side of it.
Congrats to Dwarfcraft and Devi. Hopefully this works out well for everyone!
i'm not ashamed to admit that i lost interest in Devi's work because of her erratic nature and because as she deteriorated i became less interested in supporting her.

This is the main reason I never bought anything recent by Devi. I love her pedals sound, the aesthetic, the ideas, but I never pulled the trigger on a new piece because I didn't know if it would ever show up or if the build quality would be up to par with the Effector 13 era Devi's.
Safe to say though, I'm stoked to hear about Dwarfcraft buying the company. Their builds are as excellent as they are destructive. I'm hoping this means that new Devi stuff ends up being amazing. My hopes are high indeed.
