I don't use trem a whole lot so I figured save some space with the Tremolessence. I owned the 5 knob version and it was excellent, can only imagine it getting better. Expression and Hold features will be awesome, looking forward to trying it out. The GK3 sounded soooooooo good but I found myself neglecting the LFO out and custom presets, just couldn't justify it anymore. (Plus I needed some Timeline $$$)

As for the Whetstone, never really considered expression until seeing that new Street Sweeper Demo here recently, got me thinking of what could've been...

Every pedal would benefit from expression control and a hold feature. Take that shit to the bank builders!

I've been looking at the goatkeeper and the wrong side of uranus' CV in...

Tremolo and Phase have grown on me more and I can actually see myself using them regularly in an ambient project so i figure i can drop some cash on those.

Obviously the timeline would fit right in as well.

I don't think you can go wrong with the options you're considering. Some epic NPDs in your future.

The Hollow Earth has been on my list forever too, hard to come by though.

I've always been on and off with the hollow earth, cannot deny gassing for it multiple times though.

Cheap Dist+ for the board. These Whirlwind pedals are great.
(Got it for free too -- used all the bay bucks I earned last month :)

I feel bad being from Rochester and not owning a Whirlwind pedal. I have a cable from them, and it's the best one I own hands down, but pedals are cooler than cables

Whatever happened to Whirlwind cables? That's all I ever used and then about 10 years ago I couldn't find them anywhere. They still make em?
(The pedals are great BTW)

@Eric, I was planning on the Moog, just gotta go out and buy it. Or find one used, which won't happen probably.

@Dev, they do still make them, I got mine in a local music shop. Maybe they aren't distributed as much anymore?

Kinda yeah. One of the original MXR guys, Michael Laiacona, but I don't think he was the technical arm. They are very good though. I put the phaser next to an original Phase 90 and they sounded the same. WE'll see how the Dist+ stands up to scrutiny.

Free dist+ is always a nice bonus.

I got my Blackheart Killer Ant '1 watt' tube amp last Thurs, and I love it. Very worth flipping a couple unluved pedals for. It actually sounds like a tube amp at conversation voume, tho it can get suprisingly loud too. The volume control and pedal headroom can crank it to full output very fast, then the volume on the amp is more a low end and sag control. Crazy fun playing the meathead and Monarch and Thundercloud at night.

I got a Traynor practice amp - Guitar Mate 10 - off tha' CL for $15. Has interactive gain + volume and three band eq. I'm gonna pull the little 6" speaker and slice it with a razor blade. The amp actually sounds good, ss-practice amp wise, I'm going to put a speaker jack on it and try it thru a real speaker cab. Then I can dual micro-mini amp 2 1x12"s or a 1x12 and the razor-slashed 1x6.
