goddamn tommasters, that looks SUPER! Excellent color choice, the world needs more green guitars, hollow bodies in particular!

You know that whole Catfood Press type of bands?
Not that it exists anymore as far as I can tell, at least from my Sydney eyes
If you are around, you should totally play it next time I come through Melbourne with a band

yeah sort of! Just start a band with Chris and Blake from TFF. Catfood still exists, but they got threatened with a fine again so aren't doing shows anymore. Who're you playing with these days?

Daaang tommasters that's nice! Separate out jacks is very cool, planning on doing some awesome parallel effects stuff with that?

Exactly what I'm going for! This and the 3xfx sidewinder I just bought are going to work together to make some crazy signal paths!

I just got her today... pretty much in love!

I wasn't expecting to get a Dot but I think I'm really turning into more a humbucker guy. I did the mod to my Tele yonks ago. Everyone in the band loved it and sounded WICKED. The band broke up. I had no place for that 'register'/'sound'/'whateverthefuckyouwanttocallit' so I went back to Jazzmasters and got an AVRI and whacked on a set of 13-52 and Bobs your uncle. Yup... only one slight problem. I sold 6-7 Jazzmasters previous to that (I've only had one JM and my Tele for long stints) because there wasn't enough sustain. So I go off looking for a new guitar, mainly had the idea of getting a Harmony Rocket till I tried them, nup... similar to the Jazzmaster in that it wasn't getting me the darker/rounder sounds. Tried a few Gibsons while waiting for an attendant to help me with some PRS guitars I saw a lonely Epi in the corner. I picked her up, typical e-story, one strum and I fell in love. I used to be a lot 'bigger' (read chubbier/rounder) and they never really felt comfortable but now that I'm older/no more puppy fat (LOL! 60kgs of it) she sits beautifully and sounds spectacular!

Much props to Epi for getting their shit together. I preferred this over the Gibson 335 to be honest.

I now have 2 electrics for the first time since forever! Feels great :D

^ Thanks dude! Hell yeah your girlfriend has style; but what is it with girls and Epiphones? :?:

I've never met a girl with a Squier but I've dated 3 girls with Epiphone guitars/basses. I think Squier need to work on their marketing! Nothing hotter than a chick with a Mustang bass :thumb:

that's actually a really good point  squier needs to step up! and i wish i knew more female musicians...i love being in bands with girls. i find it easier to write with them, they never smell like a sweaty drum set and they don't steal my fucking mountain dew. 3 great reasons why we should recruit women to play in bands.

And yeah; girls are far easier to work with creatively. I did Journalism at Uni and had barely any guys in my class and it took that for me to realise how comfortable I felt around girls vs. males. :idk: I'd always get ridiculed or gentrified by guys in my class as I had an interest in poetry at a young age (hey; it gets the girls!) but as soon as I was in that female element shit just started ticking, homework became fun and I was able to do things that I would have otherwise never tried. I have to say though; writing music with your girlfriend has to be the most fun thing I have ever done. Just the familiarity vs. previous projects for me was the deal sealer. It forced me into transform into this character and boy did it work
