Cool, are they the 150 or 150C model?

I sent an email just for a headshell quote, im not sure how im gonna make a case / board combo. . . so far the idea is holy padded case for the reverb tank, with the front being hinged on the bottom,

undo hinge to open up case and pedals are velcro'd to the inside of the case face.

if that makes any damn sense.

custom cables / proper power supply with a proper iec power jack on the outside.

stupid ass case will prolly cost more then I have into the reverb unit, but will be TITS AS FUCK when done.

Holy crap. That is a weapon of mass destruction. You should have to register for something that testicle-melting.

also dig the rig/tools of the trade Cancer.

It depends on what kind of sound you're going for. Diezel amps were designed for classic rock, tight metal and maybe jazz. They're not designed for Doom or Sludge—although the Herbert and VH4 can pull those tones off if you know how to use them. If you can't get a good sound out of Diezel, it's not for you, it's not because it has loads of switches and knobs. Switches and knobs don't NOT make a sound. I don't know where people get this idea from. Sure, a cluttered signal path can limit dynamics, but the Fryette Sig:X is a cluster of controls, yet it's also one of the most dynamic amps I've ever played that allows whatever you're plugging into it to shine rather than the amp being the 'shine'. Conversely, some simple one channel amps with only a few controls have been little than blunt weapons with no class or grace. Hiwatt Custom 100 and Matamp GT120 being examples. That 'blunt weapon' to you might be what you want. You don't buy a Diezel for that. You buy a Diezel for a swiss army knife and a wide selection of Katanas. Everyone has a different weapon of choice, and not everyone can afford or have space for ten different amps when they feel one does them all well enough for them. I'd personally rather use pedals for that, you'd rather use individual amps, others would rather use a Fortin or Diezel. It's not "stupid shit." It's preference.

Diezel and a Framus..... both brought the frrrty frrrt to my ears. and all the video tone tests brought the holy terrible ass everything be it the amps or every single person using them.
I know what you mean. Seems everyone is playing djent on em or ac/dc leads. irritating just give me some riffs. Even open chords would be more useful haha. I played a Framus cobra and I have to say it's easily one of the worst sounding amps I've ever played. I couldn't believe my ears after all the hype.
I owned a Framus Dragon once. I did not like it at all.

Sorry if I called a spade stupid shit. It doesn't do tight metal well either cause assuming I only play doom and sludge is just as ignorant as you took my opinion. Except it's a fact. switches and knobs clutter shit up, you admitted that so there isn't much else you can say that's pro diezel... you don't buy it for a swiss army knife of ideas you buy it for a frrt tone that frrts the place up.

So it'll always be stupid shit. You didn't say anything that made me think about what I said...only on how I view you now.

I never said you only play Doom and Sludge. That was your assumption. I also specifically mentioned the Sig:X, not Diezel, when referring to a cluttered control panel not cluttering up the sound. Diezel amps do sound to me like they suffer from being overly feature-laden. I'm not pro Diezel as a personal venture, I'm pro Diezel because others are pro Diezel and have valid reasons for it. Whether you agree with those reasons or not does not deter me from being aware of others, not just you. Which seems to be all that matters to you. And that is how I view you now.

I thought that was very obvious and very well stated that I only care about what I think. I have gone out of my way to say as such. Nothing else means two ripe shits. I don't care how pro-diezel you are, there was honestly no reason to quote and speak to me about it.

Other than that this is a forum and I wanted to talk to you about it because it's a topic that interests me? You should be aware that you in fact spoke to us about what you thought about Diezel amps as we were discussing them. Do you honestly expect to jump in to a conversation and not receive a response? If you go around saying "I believe that women should not be allowed the right to an abortion" to random people at a feminist convention, do you not think at least one person will want to retort?

And I'll say it again, I'm not pro-Diezel. I'm pro allowing others to express themselves musically through whatever medium they prefer.

Yes I kinda do as in not in the way you addressed me in it. Cause you came off as a prick. And by your same example you are using is the same way I retorted to you. So again I say the same as before.

I didn't mean to come off as a prick. I meant to explain my stance and why I disagree with the generalization that cluttered control panels immediately makes for a shit amp.

I read back through my initial comment to see what you mean and I can't pick out the parts where I'm coming off as a prick. I was certainly defensive, but not a prick. Even if I did come across that way, it was not my intention and I never want to persuade you into thinking that I was. I'll chalk this up to a misunderstanding.

Yea that's what I'm taking this as now. a misunderstanding. All good. Going to have dinner now. Sorry if I was immediately defensive. it's years of the same sort of interaction on message boards but with the intention actually being prickish.

If I come across as a prick, I will take it back. I never want to give people the wrong impression. I want to be honest.

Sorry for acting up, mate.
