Just so you know, you can access the original quadrture mode with the expert firmware. Go into phase mode and max out sliders 2, 3, & 4. But I also don't blame you, I didn't find the expert firmware that easy to use with the UI.

& I guess it can't always be good right? Just gotta keep on trucking.

jia. i liked what i saw from demos a lot, and that was all og firmware (i really dig Divkids vids), so way more into that. at least right now.

lol. OR. know when to STOP trucking. realize that your truck is... your truck is pretty nice. maybe DON'T add that spoiler. or have it lowered. or try to go all Thunder Road and weld half of a dead Beetle onto it.

KNOWN. WHEN. TO. RECORD.

or something.

Don't get me wrong on that, it is worth full price to me now. I just meant that it didn't seem like it based on what's in the demo, and it took some time to find the magic. Today I was using the Voltage Memory in sequencer mode to clock it and arpeggiate the pitch at high speeds, for more detailed shreddy sounds (re-freezing and re-pitchshifting on each clock tick, and it can go pretty fast). Simple realtime whammy style pitch shifting is something that modular doesn't really have yet, but this is still pretty good. Pitch shiftable freeze is what it is, and that actually is worth full price, and absolutely worth 6HP. It's the ehx type of freeze but better, so, not like the 2HP or the scooper at all. It can arpeggiate/pitch sequence the tiny grains of audio it freezes on each trigger, so it really is more like an extra voice than an effect. At 100% wet with the pitch most of the way down and gently modulated, it can even tame the shrill wogglebug oscillators without a filter, and get beautiful long freezes out of them, or turn them into techy arpeggios or clocked random notes. Experimentation is the key to getting really cool stuff out of it, which is pretty cool too. Reverb and delay definitely help it to shine on longer note freezes.

Hey guys! I wanted to let you know I'm jumping into the modular world but not in the sense you'd think. ;) I'm going to be doing panels for this rad ass dude https://www.facebook.com/Analog-Systems ... 464705937/

I did not do this one, but here's an example of something I'll be doing.

My friend Fuzz Pope got us hook up, we talked on the phone and he is great man! He's been doing this since the 70's I believe he said. All analog, awesome quality and he does not charge that much at all.

So, if you're into modular stuff, he sell on ebay or you can hit him up on Facebook. He does not advertise. LOL. Said he just doesn't do that. He's also into building old pedal circuits as well.

I'll let you guys see stuff when I'm done as well and I'll probably end up with some stuff from him. :)
