phasing loops are delicious

i need a looper with micro pitch adjustment, but most of them only have regular speed/half speed.

oh, jesus, am i going to end up with FOUR loopers? i want to go back to bed.

"Music for 18 Musicians" is a totally interesting piece. Those bassoons and singers sound a lot like synth arpeggios.

i also think about "Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet" and "The Sinking Of The 'Titanic'" a lot. that one album has probably influenced me as much as anything i've heard in my life. i even titled one of my SoundCloud loops "The Sinking Of The Gavin Bryars."

Other than the obvious expensive options, loops in Timefactor can be pitched by (+/-) 1/100th of the original pitch.

It would copy the loop and every time you hit a secondary footswitch it would slightly nudge the tempo of one of the copies once, you can set it so it does it either immediately or at the beginning/end of a loop. multiple stomps make the nudge stronger.

I really enjoyed that. The thing I kept thinking about when I was listening to that was Main, the guitar loop project from the Loop guitarist. Oh good lord, that's the first time I've thought about Main in a long, long, long time. Oh no, resist rabbit hole, oh no, yeah, no can't resist. Ok...

thank you. i want to get back to making and storing loops soon, but the second looper isn't here yet. it's supposed to be here today. but all my old loops were done with a single looper, sometimes the Ditto x2 but more often the Akai Head Rush 2. as i've said, the dual looper thing is so i can do extended sequences with crossfades and shit.
