Back to slow phasers.
Chankgeez had a thread years ago. I confirmed the infanem went to 90 seconds.
The lightning wave one could probably go damn slow if you drew the wave long and the tapped it slower. Also, broadcast or lightning wave CV controllers into a phaser with CV in.
There is also the modular route...doepfer makes a nice optical weird phaser (A-101-3 last I checked it has no good demos online but I love mine...it can also work as a LPG and filter with adjustable poles) and something real slow like the sloth. Moog or whatever would be cheaper at that point though.
I wonder if you could bypass the lfo off a cheap analog phaser to accept CV in from the broadcast or whatever?
My Maxon jet flanger doesn't have the feedback/res either. It's a different sound...but I kinda like dialing in the res on my amdek.

interesting.
i had chank's old whetstone but sold it to try something new and make board space. now i'm regretting it and will probably end up buying another but may check the infanem out if i can track it down.
gotta test it out, maybe the moog, and the CBA to see which one wins the shootout.
infanem's website talks about the 90-sec sweep on the fayes. hrm. totally forgot about that one. hot damn. summer in the city.

What's this in Hz? I feel like if I hadn't worked an 11 hour day and drank a double bourbon I could do the computing, but

I think you're probably right about that. Although, I'd want at least it set at a somewhat resonant feedback setting.

I think you might've just missed it:
I think that's the same one. I usually look for those black knobs. The Mothership had it on Reverb and it just sold.
FWIW, if I got another Whetstone, I'd look for a v1. I liked the way the v1 sounded better. It's definitely noisier and stuff, but it might be worth it.

According to the converter I just used: 0.011111111111111 Hz

Yeah, that seems insanely slow.
Don't know if anybody's posted this in the thread here yet for comparison. (This's way before the Infanem came out.):

This thread (and my Reverb feed) finally inspired me to pick up the phaser I've dreamt of since I first saw it on gearmandude back in the day

I'm glad I work in food service so I don't have to more regularly decide if food or gear is more vital to my survival.
But yeah, generally I feel you there. I really lucked out and was able to snag this lil dude for $200.

These are the only pics I was able to find of this guy, the DOD R-875 Flanger/Doubler
Also the R-870 Stereo Flanger Doubler
And there's a dual delay in the series too, the R-880, which even has a demo
