I work in south bend/elkhart area mainly. Live in the rochester area which is about an hour south.

Music scene in south bend is pretty shallow, unless your into punk and dive bars which suits me fine. A couple friends of mine are doing well, they are signed and touring with the likes of 10 years and what not.

I'm in the middle of a stalled crust punk/sludge project. Drummer cant keep his kit proper, and our lead just made the first cut for the next season of the voice, so he's gonna be on superstar status probably before to long. The blooz really seems to be his calling.

Yeah -- seems like there aren't too many sweet shows going on there but it's about equidistant for my Chicago friends and I so I feel like I should use it as an opportunity to get them to come do something -- haha.

I'd recommend smiths downtown tap and grill in mishawaka for an overall good experience in the south bend area. Tons of craft beer, including all the three floyds you could imagine. Also some pretty decent bands pop in on occassion, especially if your into punk and metal.

Bizarre from D-12 is gonna be there soon, so if there is a night to get weird I'd think that one would be good as any, as long as you dont despise hip hop.

I'll actually be filling in for a friend and will be playing there in may.

Definitely my favorite spot in the area to catch a show, and the fact that the staff seems turn a blind eye to the use of my vape makes for a great time.

Yeah -- I think I stumbled upon some flyers for that place. Good to know. Also good because my job may occasionally send me to the area and I'll need to know where to hang.

They're fairly loud with the proper 215 cab.

For the record, that's a 200 watt head. Not 800.

It seems that, for as long as I can remember, listing the power consumption in place of the power output rating is standard practice in Craiglist ads for old Peavey solid state amps.

I knew when he meantioned it that I wouldn't even have to click to know it was about the Peavey. I hate people so much.

In relation to that, I just found one local to me: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PEAVEY-M-III ... Track=true

Says not working. Sent a message asking what was up.
Hopefully not a critical fail, but the dude is selling all sorts of other hifi gear, so I'm guessing it is (i'm guessing he does repairs). Unless he just doesn't do guitar/bass gear :idk:
Seems like the rear power switch is missing.
Who knows?

Dude got back to me.
Said, "It does not power up, I have not tried to power it up. I am selling it for parts only sorry."
He has 120 on it. 6 are watching.
These are pretty rare down here and it may be much cheaper than getting one sent over from the states, even if I do have to sink some $ into it.
Should I offer him $75 and see what happens?

As far as I know SS stuff is pretty hard to fix compared to le tubez.

Yeah, I'm wondering if this is really worth it, or even possible.

If it could be determined to be a simple fix I'd go for it, but he really hasn't been fothcoming enough to make a call.
My guess is it is completely rooted, he knows it and he's banking on someone to think it may be an easy fix.

FUCKING SIGH.
