Been on too tight of a budget to buy anything anymore. Stumbled upon the V2 Super Collider schematic and modded it to V3 specs AND made the diode toggle 3 way so the middle position is no diodes. It's definitely throwing my Tall Font off the board... I totally respect EA for coming up with this and as a disclaimer for independent builders such as EA I won't be selling this one!

Sweet build Evan!!! Is it pretty much a spot on clone except for the no diodes toggle?

Thanks dudes :D

And yep, it's straight up a Super Collider. Mines a little bit louder to be honest though

Yeah I agree. I'm thinking it's the potentiometer value on the volume knob, but when they are dialed in the same, its about a quarter of a knob turn louder. Not gonna complain about that at all haha

It definitely can do Tall Font sounds though, but with the addition of the mids that I dearly missed. The LED clipping mode sounds AWESOME for DI'ing.

The Silicon gets REALLY close to the Tall Font sound and is seriously the heaviest thing ever.

You could have done no diodes with an on/off/on toggle

That's awesome! I'm glad you finally found a fuzz to kick the tall font off. Not that it was a bad pedal, it sounds amazing, but you seemed to be having alot of issues with its bypass and what not, this should remedy all that and provide you with some other wicked tones!

Yep! That's what it is. Down is SI, middle is no, and top is LED!
I originally had just an on/off for LED/SI, but then I thought about the no diodes switch and swapped it out. Sounds awesome and can do some nice Pharaoh type drive stuff

I agree dude. I still wanted about the same size (although I seemed to have gained about an inch with the new enclosure) but between the bypass, how old it's getting, and the mids/me needing to post EQ EVERYTHING, this was a no brainer!

SC is worth a look. Killer pedal. Different than the Pharaoh.

I hadn't either man. And I'd tried a LOT of Muffs.

Little Big Muff
Tall Font Russian Sovtek Muff
Black Russian Sovtek Muff (2, of different eras)
Rams Head Muff DIY
Triangle Muff DIY
3 Knob Hoof
BAT Pharoah
BAT Sarcophagus
BAT Badascan
Blackout Effectors Musket, twice
Blackout Effectors Seriously Special Twosome
Dwarfcraft Eau Claire Thunder
Dr. Balls Green Russian
DIY Civil War
DBA Fuzz War

They all had things they excelled at, and I've learned a lot about what I dig in different muffs from it. But it seems like the SC is where I end!
