Firstly, Skip, sad to hear about the latest news...hope things are progressing better for you...wishing all good things for you mate.

Thanks bud! It's been a rollercoaster of a week but it seems to have lulled into being just extreme discomfort and minor numbness in my left leg and left arm. I can't go and grab my 2x15 and load it in my truck by myself any more, but I can sling a guitar on for about an hour and bear through it. Which is the main thing I need to be able to do for the next 2 weeks, after that we have a 3 week no show period, which is when I'm hoping to get some treatments. I'm applying for health insurance this week, and unfortunately had to take out a credit card to cover the deductible if I need surgery. This thing ain't gonna beat me, it might slow me down for a bit, but it ain't gonna beat me.

i've been meaning to say good luck to you. the situation sucks pretty bad and i'll have my fingers crossed for you. your approach is inspiring.

Pharaoh works great with wah, and it does stack great. I run a Ftaboost3 into mine to brighten it up a bit.

I fell back in love with the Pharaoh at our last little jam...huge fuzzy tones were had. My rig sound far surpasses my playing ability.

My rig surpasses my ability too. I dont mind though. I want it to be my fault if it sounds bad. I never want to use hardware as an excuse. I just noodle here and there these days anyway. so much work taking up my time.

Yep. Me too. I'm kind of glad I've slowed down with GAS and been focusing on actually using the shit I've got now

I've heard mixed things about it. I've also heard it sounds FAR from a Big Muff, but I assume if you've listened to it you know that haha

Yeah Bill's fucking crazy with all the stuff he gets out of those pedals, and thinking out of the box. I sat down one afternoon and watched all of them in a row and my brain exploded

Never heard them before and I usually don't like much clean vocals but I really dig this.

In other news, my afternoon of gear upgrades is 50/50. I started on swapping pickups on the LP and I wired it up backwards. The neck and bridge volume and tone pots are in the opposite places. It works though if I put the pickup selector in the opposite setting. There is one issue though. The bridge volume doesn't go to 0. when I roll the volume all he way off there is still sound, like somewhere around 5 or 6 and then when I roll it up the sound goes away and then comes back in full when I roll the volume to 10. I dunno what is up with that. I'm gonna take everything apart and start all over later.

I did fix the grill cloth on one of the cabs though.

Just throwing this out there, but don't leave the iron on the pots for more than a few seconds really. I found out the hard way I how easy it is ot fuck up brand new pots.
