Why you didnt wired a mid pot?
and from where come this PCB?
thanks, nice muff[/quote]
I think the mid control is kinda overrated. I've found them to be too subtle to justify the extra knob. Basically I don't think they help much at all so I stick with the regular controls for ease of use.
The PCB was from madbeanpedals.com

Have you tried just swapped the 4.7nF cap for a 10nF for flat mid response? That's what I do a lot, then just use a switch to go between them.

First ever build, a rangemaster with pcb from madbean. Worked right away and I'm really loving the sound.

Nice job! There's really no beating a rangemaster in my opinion. They sound absolutely KILLER with a plexi-style amp, too.

So I bought a gallon of Muratic acid for etching. Pray that my neighbors don't find me dead.
hahah
Actually I did have a mishap with my last etch. Lots of fumes that went straight in my fucking face. I had to rethink how I'm doing it and move to a more aired out environment. I was doing it with just the garage door open, but it's simply not enough. Those fumes gave me a massive headache for two fucking days. Toxic shit there son.

I fucking hate PNP. Shit just does not work right. I sanded boxes for like 40 mins today and couldn't get a proper goddamn transfer with that worthless shit. So annoying. I've only got it to work really well like 3 times. Anyone else have issues with that shit?
