Agreed. Sounds like an awesome idea for doom. The metalheads it's 'designed for' are probably thinking they can drive the top end hard and keep the low end tight, but I'm thinking the total opposite, haha.

EXACTLY!!!! They are designed for Djentist's wanting to do exactly what your talking about, but that amp concept also works well for the doom mentality of super thick boosting your dirt as the amp gain stays tight and adding the low end boost thickens it up without becoming mud. I mainly bought this because I've been getting back into my crust / d-beat and hardcore roots and really wanted a plug n play setup that relied minimally on having a pedalboard, on the upside I also have 18 dirt choices in a single amp now.
