Stackables are a damn near perfect product, probably one of the strongest in the entire eurorack market. I think the price is fair considering the context and amount of use (and patching freedom) you get out of them. I would definitely be interested in some competition and alternatives though. I have a Black Market splitter hub thing, that comes in handy when a stackable isn't enough.

Just ordered my last 2 pairs of Z-rails & ears, to finish the second 12u. Not sure about a skiff anymore, might just leave a couple Rolands and the ipad in that bit of table space instead, and do a Mantis on a stand or something.

yeah. i couldna find anything comparable.

i mean. i would LOVE like........ Black Market to make stackable cables too, just so i could have a consistent color scheme. i'm not a fan of yellow, and that's the most useful length of Stackable for me.

cool. i'll just suck it up and drop a couple hundy on a handful of the buggererererers.

...... what is the little thing DivKid uses sometimes as a mid-cable attenuater called? cable plugs into each end, and you get a slider to attenuate the signal? looks USEFUL.

hah! dooder from Black Market Modular/Foxtone sent on a pair of those splitters he makes. NEAT. AS. BUTTS.

The black and red stackables are all I need mostly, and I don't need a ton of them...black is the best balance of bang for the buck, length and color. I have 10 black, 2 reds, and 2 yellow, but no others. I need a few more reds at least, and maybe a couple more yellow, but that should be plenty for the system I have.

Every time I order something from a modular store I usually get at least two stackcables to go along with it, this way I don't feel the gouge as much. They're expensive but I love having them.

I need to get more stackcables. I really like the red and the yellow ones. I have a few blues, but I never use them. I think I need a few more of both yellow and red, plus maybe a couple black or purple ones

Guess Noise Reap just posted this to their site, I'm very interested because it looks like something that can be used to great effect. It's a sampler based off of an old answering machine IC.

Finally the pair of Disting mk4s I ordered about a month ago are in stock. Its a super boring purchase since they will just replace my mk3s, but still feels good to have something in the mail for this first time in a little stretch.
