Wouldn't this only be the second one? The rest are boosts/od, no?

Heh, I think I understand. I had to buy the Sea Machine three times, before I finally decided I needed to hold onto one permanently.
Ha same here. On my 4th Grand Orbiter

The Wash is getting updated. (pre-order already open) It now has a vertical orientation with top-mounted jacks and the option to save $30 by dropping the TT feature.

-Smaller Footprint-
-Lower Price-
-Manual Time Knob-
-Top Mount & Side Mount Jack Options-
-Added Non-Tap-Tempo Option-

Personally I think I like the original ($259), horizontal look more, but not enough to spend an extra $40.

I was kind of hoping I was wrong, and maybe there were one or two I hadn't seen :)

I asked WMD on Instagram is they had any blemished Giger Counter Pro's for sale. hahahahaha

Their response-

"Blemishes? Geiger Pro? Never! They are all perfect and beautiful (just not all built yet) !"

That actually made me respect them a lot more. hahaha

I've been obsessing over this since I heard about it. This solves the two big barriers to owning a tape machine: prohibitive prices and sizes. This could even fit on my pt nano. Can't wait to hear the final word on price, but it looks like it's going to be at least a couple hundo cheaper than the full version.

Moog has announced an expanded 2,000 unit run of the Sub 37 for $1,799. (Not exactly a tiny batch, so I'm not sure if it will take 3 months or 8 months for these to sell out.)

https://www.moogmusic.com/news/announci ... uent-37-cv

The most-notable changes include:
MORE MULTIDRIVE – Wider range and dirtier than ever before
ROOM FOR TWO - More headroom means Duo mode sounds even better
6 ASSIGNABLE OUTPUTS – Modular connectivity with 4x CV outs and 2x Gate outs
UPGRADED KEYBED – Lightweight with swift action, velocity, and aftertouch

Also, from Moogfest, Google's Magenta team is demonstrating their NSynth. The NSynth was announced in a Google blog post last month, but details are still emerging. In simple terms, it takes pre-existing sounds and modifies their dynamics and timbres, often by combining and mixing multiple instruments.

https://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-tech ... struments/
While it may sound as though Google’s scientists are playing two instruments at the same time with NSynth, or perhaps layering instruments atop one another, that’s actually not what’s happening. Rather, as Wired notes, this new software is producing completely unique sounds by leveraging “the mathematical characteristics of the notes that emerge” from various instruments. And those instruments are indeed varied — NSynth is capable of working with around 1,000 different sound makers from violins to didgeridoos. And the combinations of those sounds are creating countless new experiences for us to reckon with.

“Unlike a traditional synthesizer which generates audio from hand-designed components like oscillators and wavetables, NSynth uses deep neural networks to generate sounds at the level of individual samples,” the team explained in a blog post last month. “Learning directly from data, NSynth provides artists with intuitive control over timbre and dynamics and the ability to explore new sounds that would be difficult or impossible to produce with a hand-tuned synthesizer.”
There are technical notes and sound files here:

I'm not sure if the NSynth project could be the pre-cursor to a commercial synth or part of a software bundle/app. Perhaps that will be revealed at their Moogfest appearance.

Any Info what tube is in there? It does not look like a 12ax7 though...

I actually can't find any info on that, neither in the manual for this or in the manuals for their other tube modules. Seems kinda odd.

Looking at rear shots of their tube modules, they kinda look like 12ax7's tho.
